A new chapter begins for SUPERPANTHER in Europe

A new chapter begins for SUPERPANTHER in Europe.

Series production is officially underway, and the first eTopas 600 trucks are now entering commercial operations.

On 27 July, the first series-produced eTopas 600 rolled off the final assembly line at Steyr Automotive GmbH in Austria. The first series-produced vehicles were then handed over to DHL Freight, Gress Speditions GmbH, Temmel GmbH and LONTEX GROUP Sp. z o. o., marking the start of regular commercial operations across Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic.

For SuperPanther, this is more than a production milestone.

It marks the transition from technology development, European validation and customer trials to scalable commercial operations.

Built for real-world heavy-duty transport:

Up to around 600 km driving range under European operating conditions

Average energy consumption of around 0.94 kWh/km

Dual-CCS2 charging from 20% to 80% in under 38 minutes

“Europe doesn’t need another imported truck. It needs another industrial partner. By combining our technology platform with European manufacturing, validation and service capabilities, we are building a European product together with Europe.”

— Chao Liu, Founder and CEO of SuperPanther

Final assembly, commissioning and quality acceptance are carried out at Steyr Automotive GmbH in Austria, combining SUPERPANTHER's technology platform with European manufacturing expertise and industrial capabilities.

“Strong engineering needs strong manufacturing. Every vehicle leaving this plant must meet our agreed quality standards before it reaches the customer. The labels ‘SuperPanther’ and ‘by Steyr Automotive’ both stand for that.”

— Siegfried Wolf, Owner & Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Steyr Automotive GmbH

“We do not see Europe as a market that can simply be supplied – we see it as a system in which a vehicle has to function from a regulatory, industrial and operational perspective.”

— Dr Michael Ruf, President Europe of SuperPanther

With series production now underway, SuperPanther is entering the next phase of its European development: expanding commercial operations, strengthening local service capabilities and bringing electric heavy-duty transport into daily use across more European markets.

The eTopas 600 is no longer preparing for European roads. It is now working on them.
