OnGuardMAX, ZF’s advanced ADAS system for commercial vehicles, has successfully supported SUPERPANTHER a next-generation Chinese electric heavy-duty truck OEM, and its newest vehicle model, eTopas600, in successfully obtaining the certification for the latest version of UNECE R131.
This regulation imposes higher requirements on application scenarios and safety performance. Achieving this certification marks a major milestone and lays a strong foundation for SuperPanther’s expansion into global markets.
This is the first case in China of using ZF’s major ADAS offering for this regulation compliance. At its core is a system designed to perform where it matters most: detecting critical situations earlier, supporting reliable braking, and ensuring compliance with evolving safety regulations. It clearly demonstrates ZF’s industry-leading technology and performance, while marking another important step forward in our collaboration on advanced vehicle safety.
Beyond AEB, the solution also integrates functions such as Blind Spot Detection (MOIS and BSIS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDWS), enhancing safety in both urban environments and on highways, supporting SuperPanther’s global development and its continuous advancement in ADAS capabilities.
A good example of how advanced driver assistance systems are becoming a key enabler — not just for safety, but for global market access.
