SuperPanther Technology and ELMI Power Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Europe’s Commercial EV Charging Ecosystem
Dec 05,2025

Last week, SuperPanther Technology and ELMI Power announced a strategic cooperation during the HongShan (formerly Sequoia China) YUE Accelerator event in Yangshuo. YUE is one of China’s leading founder platforms for deep-tech scaling, known for supporting companies shaping the future of mobility, energy systems and infrastructure.

The agreement marks a significant milestone for both organisations as they aim to jointly develop a European fast-charging and energy-storage ecosystem tailored to commercial vehicles and logistics fleets.

A Partnership Built for the Next Phase of Electrified Logistics

The collaboration combines two complementary capabilities:

SuperPanther Technology

· Next-generation electric heavy duty-truck platform

· High-performance powertrain and commercial vehicle architecture

ELMI Power

· Battery-supported ultra-fast charging (400–600 kW)

· Integrated storage systems (340–600 kWh and scalable)

· Grid-relieving depot and on-route charging solutions

Together, the companies will address the most pressing challenges of commercial transport electrification in Europe: limited grid capacity, high investment barriers, long project lead times and rising power demand as 400 kW+ vehicle platforms become the new industry standard.

Why This Partnership Matters for Europe

Electrifying Europe’s logistics ecosystem requires more than just faster trucks – it requires infrastructure that keeps pace.

ELMI’s battery-supported solutions reduce complexity and shorten deployment timelines dramatically:

· No medium-voltage expansion needed

· Project delivery in 3–6 months instead of 12–24

· Lower electricity costs via dynamic tariffs, PV integration and storage optimization

· Up to 400–600 kW peak power with only 20–100 kW grid input

This approach unlocks locations that previously could not support high-power charging – making depot electrification and corridor charging economically viable for logistics operators, retailers, transport hubs and fleet operators.

A Milestone Statement from ELMI Power

“This partnership is a milestone for ELMI Power — and for the future of commercial EV charging in Europe. By combining SuperPanther’s vehicle innovation with our battery-supported charging ecosystem, we are addressing one of Europe’s biggest bottlenecks: grid limitations.”

– James Xu, CEO & Founder, ELMI Power

An Acceleration Statement from SuperPanther

“SuperPanther drives the adoption of new-energy heavy duty trucks in Europe through our fully self-developed technology. This collaboration will allow us to offer tailor-made charging solutions to our customers and it will further accelerate grid integration and the mobility transition.”– Chao Liu, CEO & Founder, SuperPanther

The YUE Accelerator as a Catalyst

The partnership was initiated within the YUE Accelerator, HongShan’s signature program designed around the principle “Founders help Founders.” Its focus on deep-tech scaling and ecosystem building created the ideal environment for collaboration — linking Chinese innovation speed with European energy-system expertise.

Next Steps

In 2026, both companies will begin coordinated ecosystem integration, including:

· Pilot deployments in key European logistics corridors

· Technical integration of charging, storage and vehicle systems

· Scalable solutions for commercial fleet depots

· Co-development of long-term energy-management and service models

The shared ambition: Build Europe’s most efficient, scalable and grid-friendly charging ecosystem for commercial transport.
