SuperPanther and DHL Group Join Forces Strategically for Sustainable Logistics

[Hanover, Germany | September 16, 2024] On September 16, 2024, at the IAA Transportation Global Commercial Vehicle Exhibition in Hanover, SuperPanther and DHL Group signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, with both parties committed to advancing and realizing sustainable logistics. The two companies will engage in comprehensive collaboration on sustainable logistics solutions and ecosystem development. The memorandum was signed by Mr. Andreas Muendel (Senior Vice President Strategy & Operation Programs) from DHL Group and Ciao Liu, Founder and CEO of SuperPanther.

SuperPanther is a technology-leading company specializing in new energy medium and heavy-duty truck technologies. It has developed a next-generation electric truck skateboard chassis platform, offering customers world-class intelligent zero-carbon transportation solutions. Since its establishment in 2022, the company has been committed to technological innovation in electric heavy-duty trucks and its global expansion. SuperPanther has already partnered with its first European OEM to begin mass production of its electric heavy-duty truck platform in Europe at the end of 2025 catering to the rapidly growing zero-carbon transportation needs of logistics customers.

As part of this strategic cooperation, both parties will jointly promote the development of electric truck transportation and infrastructure towards a greener, more environmentally friendly, and sustainable future. SuperPanther will leverage its innovative electric truck technology solutions to help DHL Group and its partners build a more efficient and cost-effective electrified operational model. This will contribute to speeding up DHL's progress in the sustainable logistics sector and achieving its own net zero-carbon transportation objectives.

DHL will also utilize its extensive experience and resources in the logistics industry to collaborate with SuperPanther in researching and innovating new models for low-carbon and zero-carbon transportation. The two companies will engage in comprehensive, integrated cooperation in areas such as vehicle specification and procurement, operational optimization, energy replenishment facilities, and supply chain optimization, aiming to better serve global customers and further strengthen their leadership in global sustainable development.
